Photo Paper Types

All images are printed in Adelaide, South Australia by my favourite local photo lab. Please be aware the image is printed to order so there can be a processing time of 2 days – 2 weeks before the product is ready to be shipped.

The standard paper offerings are:
Photo Paper – Lustre or Matte
Fine Art Paper – Platine Fibre Rag or Matte
Canvas Prints – Stretched on frame

The following are available on request: Photo Gloss, Metallic, Bamboo, German Etching & Fine Art Textured.

Print prices are for the print only. If you are wanting a framed print please contact me and I can provide pricing.

Photo Paper

The photo paper used is Fujicolor Crystal Archive Preferred Paper which is chosen for its thicker, stiffer base with optimised silver halide crystals. These result in vivid colour reproduction, brilliant whites, and excellent image stability.

I chose to offer lustre rather than a standard gloss paper as I love the way it has a shiny finish and bright whites without being too reflective and losing detail to glare. Coastal and sunset images look great on lustre paper.

Matte photo paper is a great finish too and works well for my desert images or more muted tones.

Fine Art Paper

Fine Art Matte & Platine Fibre Rag are exhibition quality paper printed. All inks used on the fine art prints are archival to 100-200 years ensuring the image will be vibrant and won’t fade away. Fine art prints are suitable for high end reproduction to exhibition standard and I love the way my images look on these two surfaces.

Fine Art Matte
Photo Rag Bright White is the first choice for all users who prefer an especially bright white 100% cotton paper. Smooth surface texture and archival standards, its premium matte inkjet coating meets the highest industry standards regarding density, colour gamut, colour graduation and image sharpness while preserving the special touch and feel of genuine art paper. 305gsm
